Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Your information is yours, not ours, and keeping it private matters to us. This policy explains what the Mauricetown Truck & Auto Repair parts quote portal (the “Portal”) collects and why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and your rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We never have, and we never will.
This policy covers people who visit the Portal, create an account, or are added to a business’s account by a colleague. Mauricetown Truck & Auto Repair, 2110 E. Buckshutem Rd, PO Box 211, Mauricetown, NJ 08329, is responsible for your information.
What we collect and why
Our rule is to collect only what we need to quote, supply and support your parts orders.
Your account
Your name, email address, phone number and job title, so we can recognize you and contact you about your requests. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and stored only in hashed form; we never see them. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us, and nothing else.
Your business
Business name and DBA, business type, fleet size, phone, website, billing and shipping addresses, your preferred way to be contacted, and how you heard about us. If you tell us your business is tax exempt, your exemption number, which we need to charge tax correctly and must keep for tax records.
Your trucks
Details of the vehicles you add or include in a request: unit number, VIN, year, make and model, engine, transmission and axle details, and mileage. We use these to find parts that fit.
Quote requests and orders
What you ask for, the vehicle it is for, urgency, delivery preference, notes, and the contact details on the request. We also keep the quote we send back, any estimate or purchase-order documents attached to it, the history of its status (requested, quoted, approved, ordered, shipped), and tracking details.
Emails we send you
A record of each email the Portal sends (the recipient, subject, and whether it was delivered), so we can tell when a quote did not reach you and call instead.
Feedback you choose to send
If you use the Feedback button, we receive your message, the page you were on, your browser and screen size, and, unless you untick it, a short list of the last few pages you visited and actions you took in the Portal. That list is kept only in your browser tab until you send a report; if you never send one, it never leaves your device.
Security and record-keeping
Our hosting and sign-in providers log technical information such as IP address, browser, the time of a request and the page requested. We use these logs to keep the Portal running and secure, and to investigate problems. We also keep a record of changes made to business accounts (who changed what, and when) so that changes can be explained later.
Cookies and analytics
The Portal uses only strictly necessary cookies and browser storage: to keep you signed in, to remember your cookie choices, and to hold a quote you are part-way through. It does not currently use analytics or session replay. If we add them, they will stay off unless you choose to turn them on. See the Cookie Notice.
Your rights
We give every customer the same rights, wherever they are. You can ask us to:
- Know and access what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy in a portable format;
- Correct information that is wrong. Much of it you can change yourself under My Account;
- Delete your personal information, subject to what we must keep by law (for example, tax and sales records);
- Opt out of the sale of your information, targeted advertising, and profiling. We do none of these, but the right is yours;
- Withdraw consent to optional cookies at any time, using Cookie settings in the footer.
To make a request, email parts@mauricetowntruck.com or call (856) 785-3222. We may need to confirm your identity first, usually by replying to the email address on your account. We will respond within 45 days. If we turn down your request, we will explain why, and you can appeal by replying to that response; we will answer the appeal within 45 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general’s office. In New Jersey, that is the Division of Consumer Affairs.
We will not treat you differently, or charge you differently, for exercising these rights.
How we protect it
- All traffic between your browser and the Portal is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Our database and file storage are encrypted at rest by our providers, and are not reachable from the public internet without our application’s credentials.
- Each business can see only its own information. Staff access is limited by role, and changes to accounts are recorded.
- Quote documents are stored privately and handed out only to people allowed to see them.
If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you, and the authorities, as required by law.
How long we keep it
- Account, business and truck details: while your account is open. If you ask us to close it, we delete or anonymize these within 90 days, except as below.
- Quotes, orders, tax exemption details and related records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally up to seven years, then deleted.
- Feedback: up to two years, or less once it has been dealt with.
- Security logs: kept by our providers for a limited period, typically about 30 days.
- Backups: deleted information is removed from backups as they expire, normally within 30 days.
Where it is stored
The Portal and its data are hosted in the United States. If you use it from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and stored in the United States.
Children
The Portal is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy to reflect new practices or legal requirements. When we make a significant change, we will update the date above and ask you to accept it the next time you sign in.
